Privacy and Security

At Gülcan Gökçe Güngören we value the privacy of our visitors. This page explains which data is processed on the Site and how it is protected. For details on the processing of personal data, see the KVKK Privacy Notice.

1. Membership and accounts

The Site has no visitor membership, registration or contact form, comments or payment area. Visitors are therefore not asked for personal information such as a name or e-mail address.

2. Data processed automatically

• Server access logs: IP address, access time, requested page address, browser and device information and response code. They are kept to deliver the Site securely, detect faults and meet legal obligations.
• View counter: On book pages only the total view count is incremented. This number is not linked to any individual visitor.
• Search: The phrase you type in the search box is used only to list results and is not separately recorded by the Site. The search address may, however, appear in the server access log.

3. Cookies

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Some book pages may set a session cookie, valid until you close your browser, so that an administrator session can be checked. It is sent with security flags (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict), is not used for tracking, and can be deleted in your browser settings.

4. Third parties

The Site does not load advertising networks, visitor analytics, social media plug-ins, or external scripts and fonts; pages are served from our own domain. When you click a link to an external site such as Google Play, that site's own privacy policy applies.

5. Security measures

• All connections to the Site are encrypted with HTTPS.
• The administration panel is password-protected; passwords are stored in one-way hashed form, sessions expire after inactivity and failed login attempts are limited.
• External access to the administration panel and configuration files is blocked.

However, no transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Children

The Site does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 are described in the KVKK Privacy Notice.

This page may be updated when necessary. The current text applies from the date it is published on this page.
